Support CinDoc

Production time for a single episode can run anywhere between 6-12 hours depending on the length of the movie or show, research, writing, editing, recording, editing again, and finally, posting across social media.

In other words, it’s work.

If you’d like to support the show and the work we do, here are a few suggestions:

Review our Podcast

Christian Movie Podcast Cinematic Doctrine reviewed on iTunes under the CINDOC network

A great way to support Cinematic Doctrine is to leave a review on your respective podcast app! Whether you listen on iTunes, Stitcher, or anywhere else, you’re likely able to leave a rating and review which will go a long way in increasing the legitimacy of the podcast.

Another benefit to supporting the podcast in this way is letting a podcast app know how certain podcasts relate to each other. Unlike YouTube’s algorithm, which helps to connect you with content you’ll be interested in, podcast apps are still figuring out how to do this. However, one way that works is by reviewing podcasts you like.

For example, if you listen to Popcorn Theology, another Christian movie podcast, then listen to Cinematic Doctrine, the application will list these podcasts in a “Listener’s also Like-” tab. A review will reinforce this, and increase the podcasts reach.

Consider Becoming a Patron

If you want to support Cinematic Doctrine monetarily, Patreon is an easy way to help cover the cost of production! With increased output and the introduction of new segments on the podcast, becoming a Patron Supporter helps ease the stress of purchasing new equipment, rental costs, and dedicating more time to the process.

In becoming a Patron, you’ll also acquire unique benefits only available to supporters of the show, some of which you can see above. For as little as $3 a month, you’ll have access to a movie-poll in which Patron’s vote on a movie we discuss or review at the end of the month. In other words, you gain some influence on the show!

Another benefit is access to every episode of The Pre-Show. It includes open-ended free-form discussions on movies, Christianity, and life itself! To keep things simple, we’ve also included access to The Pre-show available to those who support at least $3 to the Patreon!
