While visiting Florida I was invited by Derrick to sit in on his podcast ShatterCast, a subsidiary of Shattered Studios, to talk about Spider-Man: Far From Home.
Something I’ve come to really enjoy about their podcast is swift, poignant thoughts on their topic followed by in depth discussion from a Christian perspective. For instance, in their Anthem episode, a video game that released earlier this year to middling/negative reviews, the crew discussed not only the game itself but healthy Christian responses to failure. This sort of thing is common for the Shattered team to engage, and I’m sure you’ll enjoy our discussion as well!
Below are the original shownotes featured on ShatterCast with light alterations. Be sure to check them out!
“In this segment we discuss our views on Spider-Man: Far From Home. Was it a good follow-up to Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Homecoming? Can it stand up as a solid movie on its own?
We also discuss the notion of perspectives. Can we always trust ourselves to have the correct view on an issue? Is there absolute truth, and if so, where does that truth come from?
Thanks so much for checking out ShatterCast! Please remember to like and subscribe to their YouTube channel, as well as share this video if you enjoyed it! If you have any comments feel free to leave them below, either here or on the YouTube video, and join the discussion!
